more rocket coolness

As a follow-up to my recent post about the test of the SpaceX F9R, here’s a little video about the SpaceX Dragon, the F9R’s intended payload. The Dragon has been launched on resupply missions to the International Space Station. The unmanned missions have served as tests for the spacecraft’s real purpose.

For more about the Dragon, check out the official SpaceX website. There’s also a Wikipedia article on the Dragon.

That’s pretty cool stuff, considering we really NEED a reliable platform to get items (and personnel) into Earth orbit, and also to the ISS.
Be even better if it’s REUSABLE, too.
Damn shame that NASA’s not working on that next-gen shuttle/space-plane.
