Yup. We worship innovators once they’ve been successful. But free-thinkers are usually ostracized right up until the day they break through.

In terms of the Zombie Apocalypse, that quote makes perfect sense. People would refuse to believe it right up until granny is chewing on their arm.

If anything, that disbelief would actually accelerate the spread of the virus. Or whatever it is that makes people into zombies.
